Evergreen Campus Collaboration Briefing Sheet Who: The Oregon Destination Association (ODA)

The Oregon Destination Association (ODA) is a Statewide network of destination marketing and management organizations (DMO's), convention and visitor bureaus and chambers of commerce directors who share a common interest in the vision and vitality of Oregon’s travel industry.
ODA members are the direct, grassroots link between tourism-related business and services in Oregon's communities statewide. ODA helps unify and represent Oregon's destination marketing organizations with Travel Oregon, the state tourism division and other key industry stakeholders. As such, ODA is the leading voice for DMO's within Oregon's tourism industry.
What: A specific evening event as part of the ODA Annual Conference in January 2024.
When: Thursday, Jan18 2024. Estimated 6:00-9:00pm
Where: EASM Aviation Museum only
Why: 80-120 members of the ODA are convening to explore Yamhill County for a conference Jan 17-20. Most of the activities are organized by the following stakeholders:
Alana Hughson – Managing Director of ODA
Percy Brandon – GM of Allison Hotel & Spa
Leigh Jensen - Executive Director at Taste Newberg. Leigh was in charge of the proposal to host the ODA conference in Newberg/Yamhill County. The proposal won and she is now formally connecting stakeholders to support the conference’s success.
Michelle Kaufmann – VP of Communications, Stoller Wine Group How: Details and Run of Show TBD. An estimate is provided below:
Busses will transport ODA attendees from the Allison Hotel & Spa to EASM to arrive at 6pm
Evergreen Events to serve as caterer.
Finger foods at various stations requested
Mezzanines may be an option for additional networking
Wine to be donated through Leigh’s connections.
