What:    You don’t need to be a historian to be a strong judge! OHS is looking for people from a variety of backgrounds who can foster a love of history, respect every student, offer constructive and positive feedback, give every project equal consideration, and, most importantly, celebrate students. The Oregon History Day team will provide training about judging expectations and how to review student projects using rubrics. Judging involves evaluating projects with a critical eye, offering students constructive feedback, and selecting finalists for the national contest. Judges work in teams of three with a mix of experienced and first-time volunteers.
