Spring Break "Build A Planet" Activity

What: In line with our agreement with Rachel Tillman for the Viking Lander, Rachel will collaborate with the museum on a series of events throughout the year. Her first major event takes place this March 30th.

Who: Rachel Tillman, Viking Lander project

When:   Saturday, March 30, 11:00 am- 4:00 pm

Where: Space Museum, Galaxy Theater

How: Lander is requested to be moved into the Galaxy theater, and Airplane seats removed.

11:00 am -12:30 pm: Presentations/lander tours

12:30 pm –1:00 pm: Lunch/ reconfigure chairs for an activity session.

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Stop in activity concerning Mars habitation

Additional Information: Program is open to all ages, but is targeting ages 6-15

Information for motivating guests to attend (front desk staff):

AM program: Presentation/Lander Tour   11-12:30 (can we get Lander near/in Galaxy Theatre)

PM Program: Mars Habitation activity entitled "Build A Planet." Volunteers will just need to be on hand to assist with reiterating my instructions as we go through the activity and helping kids as needed.
